LA IRA DE DIOS
La Ira de Dios is an independent project dedicated to producing instances of encounter, collaboration and research in the field of contemporary art through residencies, partnerships and public programming.
Since 2015 LID has been developing residency programmes in which more than 150 national and international artists, curators, researchers and cultural managers have participated. The residency programmes are aimed at generating a time for reflection and free research, a space for multidisciplinary encounters with international artists and researchers, and facilitating the relationship with the Buenos Aires and Argentinean scene. Projects were carried out in collaboration with other residencies and institutions such as Das Weisse Haus (Austria), Matadero Madrid (Spain), Curadora (Santa Fe), Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop (Scotland), Casa Tomada (Brazil), Barda del Desierto (Río Negro), Zona Imaginaria (Buenos Aires), Grand Union (England), Edinburgh Art Festival, Art Basel Cities Buenos Aires, among others.
La Ira de Dios developed its activities in several of its own spaces in the neighbourhood of Villa Crespo and in 2018/19 was hosted by the Centro Hipermediático Experimental de Latinoamérica (cheLA).
